Basically the sermon was about programs. Often are churches are like that fig tree. They look like they have fruit, substance but all it is, are a bunch of leaves. The programs are the leaves. Everything looks right but there is really no fruit, no life, no reproduction. With less and less folks getting to church and having positive religious experiences, we need a strong and loving gospel message - one where people encounter Jesus - whatever that happens to look like for each one of us.<br /><br />We need God ideas, not good ideas.
