A cry of the human heart is how could Daddy God let those horrible things happen to his children, those beyond bad things. While we know that mankind is sinful and God gives us choice, even to the extent of hurting one another, that never makes it OK on an emotional level, never solves the delimma. I appreciate your insight on this verse in the context of the Israelites and their slavery....God did know, God was there, they were not alone, and somehow He still had a good plan for them. I don't understand it all, yet in these truthes there is encouragement and hope.
